Twenty-five years after the attacks of September 11th, a generation answered the call to serve. This September, Invisible Wounds Foundation marks that anniversary at our 2026 Evening of Honor, September 13 at the Morton Arboretum’s Firefly Pavilion, an evening honoring the courage and resilience of those who have served, and supporting our work toward a diagnostic for the traumatic brain injuries that too often go undetected.
We’re honored to welcome Martha Raddatz, ABC News’ chief global affairs correspondent and co-anchor of This Week, as our special guest. For more than two decades, Raddatz has reported on America’s wars from the front lines, telling the stories of the people who serve: their courage, their sacrifice, and the wounds they carry home. That’s the same work at the heart of Invisible Wounds Foundation.
At the Evening of Honor, Raddatz will lead a live onstage conversation drawn from her New York Times bestseller, The Hero Next Door: Stories of Patriotism and Purpose. Every guest will take home a copy. Emmy-winning ABC 7 Chicago anchor Mark Rivera, who has interviewed Raddatz before, will serve as master of ceremonies.
Twenty-five years since 9/11. The stories still deserve to be told, and the wounds still deserve to be healed. Join us September 13 at the Morton Arboretum.
